Gymnast Sally the Larger

Hello again, 


I've a quick blog to share with you all tonight. Partially due to watching the opening ceremony of London 2012 and partially due to one of the challenges this card is for closing in 25 minutes! Ooops 

I joined the challenge over on One Stop Craft Challenge and also a challenge on the Simply Betty challenge blog, so I took the opportunity to use the Simply Betty, Gymnast Sally image I coloured recently, which some of you may remember from here. 


Here is the card I created - 

The backing papers were cut from an old 12x12 paper stack. Gymnast Sally was coloured with my Promarkers and layered on a piece of extra sparkly silver card, covered with a sheet of pink and clear checked acetate, held together with brads to avoid glue marks. I think it's a really pretty effect. 

I added some ribbon - 

I finished the card with some sparkly rhinestone flatbacks -
